He who is poor is devoid of Lakshmi and so is he devoid of Lakshmi who lacks character. Those who are spiritual aspirants worship Lakshmi for getting the supreme wealth of Mukti. Lakshmi signifies auspiciousness.
Mount – Owl: Owl is the mount of Lakshmi. It is blind during the day. When all sleep at night the owl is awake. It is an example to spiritual aspirants. When all sleep you be awake like me and then your spiritual efforts will bear fruit.
